The Fortis Heavy-Duty Adjustable Floating Support Bracket by Federal Brace is a modular, high-strength floating support system designed for maximum flexibility across a wide range of applications. Unlike traditional welded brackets with fixed geometry, the Fortis features a fully adjustable, multi-piece design that allows installers to set the forward support arm at the exact height required for their project.

The Fortis system consists of a vertical mounting bracket, an adjustable tipping plate, and a selectable forward flange arm. These components are assembled during installation, allowing the bracket to adapt to floating countertops, desks, vanities, benches, and other architectural surfaces without being locked into a single use case.

Each Fortis configuration is rated to support up to 500lbs per bracket when installed per Federal Brace guidelines, regardless of forward flange style. This consistent load rating allows installers and designers to choose the arm style that best fits their application without sacrificing strength.

Manufactured from heavy-duty steel and proudly Made in the USA, the Fortis is engineered for both residential and commercial installations. Fasteners for both bracket assembly and installation are included, making the Fortis a complete, installer-ready solution straight out of the box.

Forward Flange Variations

The Fortis Adjustable Support System is available with four forward flange arm styles. Each option is rated for the same 500 lb load capacity, allowing selection based on application needs rather than strength limitations.

Gusset Arm

Designed for maximum rigidity, the Gusset Arm is ideal for heavy-use applications such as floating benches, deep countertop overhangs, and areas with high point loads. This option prioritizes structural reinforcement and minimal deflection.

Versatile Brace

The Versatile Brace provides a balanced solution suitable for a wide range of installations including floating desks, vanities, and countertops. It offers strong support while remaining adaptable across multiple project types.

Square Tube

The Square Tube arm features a clean, modern profile with excellent resistance to twisting and deflection. This option is well-suited for floating desks, vanities, and architectural surfaces where both rigidity and a refined appearance are important.

Flat Plate

The Flat Plate arm offers a low-profile support option for installations where concealment is critical. Ideal for floating countertops and surfaces where the bracket must remain fully hidden within the structure.
