All of our maple live edge slabs are kiln-dried, finely sanded, and the bark is removed to provide a smoother surface that requires less intensive care. Each shelf is made from salvaged live wood and will feature a unique look. Cracks and variations in the wood grain are normal and will add a unique character to each shelf. No two maple slabs are the same and will truly be expressly yours.
Paired with a steel floating shelf rod, this pre-routed live edge slab comes complete as a full kit. You’ll receive all necessary fasters for installation and we provide detailed instructions to make sure your shelf setup is quick and easy.
Choose from widths of 24” or 30”, and enjoy a depth of 8”-12” to give you more surface area to hold items on the shelf.. We designed the maple live edge floating shelf to be 50-100% deeper than most live edge shelves. Plus, the floating shelf rods are rated to carry over 50 pounds each when installed in a wall stud.
