The Patriot L Bracket is a heavy-duty hidden countertop support engineered specifically for top-of-cabinet installation. Designed to integrate directly into cabinet framing, it delivers exceptional strength while maintaining a clean, floating countertop appearance.
Built from solid 1/2" thick steel and proudly Made in the USA, the Patriot L Bracket is ideal for countertop overhang applications where the majority of the load is supported by a cabinet base and interior cabinet clearance is limited.
The Patriot L Bracket is not intended for face mounting.

Each Patriot L Bracket is rated to support up to 500 pounds when installed according to our guidelines. This makes it a stronger option than standard hidden countertop brackets, which are commonly rated for lower capacities. Patriot is well suited for granite, quartz, marble, concrete, and other heavy countertop materials.
Designed for Top-of-Cabinet Installation
The Patriot L Bracket is intended to be installed on top of cabinet framing, sitting flush with the cabinet structure before the countertop is set. Its non-gusseted L-style design preserves legroom and remains completely hidden once the countertop is installed.
The shorter down flange allows the bracket to integrate cleanly into cabinet construction where cabinet height, face frame depth, or interior clearance is limited, without sacrificing structural performance.

When installed properly, the Patriot L Bracket provides strong, reliable reinforcement without visible brackets, corbels, or knee-knocking supports.
